Came here on Labor Day for family dim sum. I would say it's one of the more solid choices in Dublin, other than Koi Palace and Mayflower. Service was good, we were right under the AC vent and it was slightly chilly. But that's just luck of the location seating. Food was good and came out fast for the staple items. We choose some less popular items like the mango sticky rice and eggplant shrimp. Those came at the very end of our meal. Forgot how long that took, maybe 35-40 mins? So be warned, if you're trying to get the non-popular dim sum items it's going to be a long wait. BUTTTTTT... I really do love the fact that they serve dim sum til late. Very very big plus

I've done to this restaurant a couple of times. First time we had about 5 tables for Chinese new year- all the dishes were good- not busy at all and wait staff were attentive. 2nd time - again not busy - food was good- the small egg tarts were delicious and fresh. My only complaint is that it really smells like mold and bleach when you enter the restaurant-

I was tasked with putting a luncheon together for 25 people. The owner Leslie was very helpful. I had to call at least 5 times because the number of people kept increasing, but Leslie was totally fine with this and would tell me the seating arrangement. A few days before the luncheon, I emailed Leslie my team's order, we did it family style, he helped me with making sure there was enough for every one, he also helped me with the Dim Sum items which ones would be good to split in half. We still ended with a bunch of leftovers, but everyone was ready for a nap when we got home. The restaurant is very spacious, even though I had 25 people. There was still so much space that we didn't bother other patrons and they didn't bother us. The food was great! We ordered a wide assortment and there wasn't anything I didn't like. We ordered : Baked pork bun Baked egg custard Steamed HK sausage Sui Mai Deep fried taro dumpling Chicken salad Beef chow fun Dry scallop and egg fried rice Egg rolls Sautéed triple mushroom Soy sauce chow mein Mongolian beef Honey glazed shrimp Kung pao chicken Mixed mushroom w/ ribeye steak We also had tea. I would come back here. I'm actually craving it right now writing this review. Thank you Golden Sand Harbor for a great luncheon.

First time here and I like it! Ample parking in the parking lot (also has Tesla EV Charging) and for the most part restaurant is nice and clean (restroom had a hard to describe odor so you may need to practice holding your breath). Restaurant is not as big nor grand as Koi's Palace or Mayflower, but it's adequate. We came here for dim sum and this place checked all the boxes.. good food, good price and good service. The crispy food came out nice and crispy (unlike some places that have them pre-fried and in push carts). One thing I like is they didn't make all of our orders and flood the table all at once, but it came staggered over the course of the hour. Wait staff was friendly and came by frequently to fill the tea ($1.70 per person for tea) and water. Portion sides are on par with other competitors, but they do put the soy sauce for the rice noodles in a small to-go type container (I'd prefer they just put the soy sauce in a small dish) that's kind of a waste. And, when we asked for chili oil, they brought a couple of chili-oil in a to-go container.. Although an acquired taste, one of their best rice noodle is their bitter melon and chicken rice noodles. Their Shrimp Dumpling was plump and full of shrimp, and their stuffed eggplant was done perfectly.. crispy eggplant and chewy fish paste with good dose of sauce. Given the option, this is a great alternative to Koi and Mayflower (where you have to get a number and could end up waiting for over an hour), and the food is on par if not better. This is one to book mark and revisit for dinner.

Lobster Lunch Special is $65.99 and it comes lobster in noodles, seasonal vegetable in broth, and 5 dim sum (1 small, 2 medium, 1 large, and 1 K-special) dishes, enough for 2-4 people to enjoy. Rock Cod Filet Special is $65.99 as well and it comes fish in porridge, fish in pan-fried rice noodles, rice noodle roll w/ Chinese donut, and 5 dim sum (1 small, 2 medium, 1 large, and 1 K-special) dishes, also enough for 2-4 people to enjoy, maybe enough for 5 people if you're not bigger eater like me :) Dim Sum restaurants in the bay area in general are just average no matter how much we pay. I have yet to taste anything that would WOW me. One example: the thickness of the dumpling skin and the thickness for the rice rolls... chefs here are nowhere at the level of chefs in Asia in making the wraps super thin... hehe... I like this place because the staffs are nice, food is consistent, good price, the place is clean, safe, and most important there are superchargers in the parking lot :) I come here mostly when I crave dimsum.
